Kerala Blasters FC announced their fourth goalkeeper of the season with 26-year-old Kozhikode-born goalkeeper TP Rehenesh making his way back home to Kerala.

Rehenesh spent his formative years at the Sports Authority of India, Golden Threads FC and Chirag United Club Kerala. He signed his first professional contract in 2012-13 with ONGC FC who were competing in the I-League. Rehenesh moved to Mumbai Tigers the season after and his spell at the club included a period on loan to Rangdajied United FC.

The goalkeeper signed for Shillong Lajong FC in June 2014 and was also drafted into the Indian Super League with Northeast United FC. After featuring for both sides during the course of the season, Rehenesh signed permanently for the Highlanders in July of 2015.

His stint at Northeast United included a two-year loan to East Bengal FC in the I-League. Rehenesh held on to a starting spot in the 2017-18 season for NEUFC and featured on 17 occasions in the ISL. In the recently concluded ISL 2018-19,  injuries, suspensions and Pawan Kumar’s elevation as the No.1 keeper meant Rehenesh was restricted to six appearances in the league.

Rehenesh is the fourth goal-keeping signing the Blasters have made his season. He joins 21-year-old 6′ 3″ keeper Lovepreet Singh, former Real Kashmir FC custodian Bilal Khan and Shibinraj Kunniyil who also hails from Kozhikode.
