Tata Steel have transferred their ISL sporting licence and ownership of Jamshedpur FC to Churchill Brothers paving the way for the Goan club to compete in ISL 2026-27.

Jamshedpur FC has officially confirmed that it will not participate in the Indian Super League (ISL) starting from the 2026–27 season.
AIFF has stated that clubs will hold commercial rights for the Indian Super League (ISL) going forward while the AIFF will retain administrative control and oversight of key operational aspects.
In its Special General Body Meeting, AIFF approved a revised constitution in line with National Sports Governance Act 2025 and has formulated rules on OCI players in the ISL.
