Delhi Dynamos FC have wrapped up a deal for 27-year-old attacking midfielder Martín Pérez Guedes from the Argentinian club Racing Club de Avellaneda.
The attacking midfielder who prefers to play on the left side of midfield started his professional career with Atlético Huracán, a club which competes in the Torneo Federal C (fifth division). Over the course of two seasons at the club, Guedes made 83 appearances and scored 12 goals.
Guedes joined one of Argentina’s “big five” clubs – Racing Club in 2012. But he found game time hard to come by in the Primera División and was subsequently loaned out to six different clubs. The clubs Guedes was loaned out to were mostly second division clubs – and he was loaned out to Defensores de Belgrano for the 2018-19 season from where he joins Delhi Dynamos FC.
Alongside Kerala Blasters, Delhi Dynamos have been very active in the transfer market. Martín Pérez Guedes’s signing follows their recent acquisition of Xisco Hernandez, Gaurav Bora and former Barcelona B midfielder Diawandou Diagne.
