Former Churchill Brothers midfielder Glan Martins has joined ATK Mohun Bagan on a two-year deal ahead of ISL 7.
From Goa, the 26-year-old midfielder spent his formative years at the Sesa Football Academy and Sporting Clube de Goa. Martins transitioned to the first team of Sporting Clube de Goa in 2015 and was part of their squad up until 2019. He played in the I-League only for a couple of a seasons while at Sporting as the club withdrew from the league in the 2016-17 season.
After Sporting Goa, Glan joined Churchill Brothers for the 2019-20 I-League season and featured in 14 matches until the league was called off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
ATK were interested in the attacking midfielder as early as in January this year, but as Churchill Brothers were in contention for the I-League, they did not accept a deal for Martins.
