Inter Kashi were adjudged champions of I-League 2024-25 following a judgment in their favour passed by the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).

AIFF Appeals Committee have upheld their stay order in favour of Namdhari FC resulting in Churchill Brothers winning the I-League 2024-25.
Churchill Brothers have withdrawn from the Kalinga Super Cup 2025 citing the draw/seeding which seemed to indicate that Inter Kashi are the I-League Champions despite a pending decision with the AIFF appeals committee which will determine the 2024-25 I-League Champions.
Six of 12 I-League clubs have written to the AIFF citing instances where title contenders Inter Kashi benefitted due to alleged partial refereeing.
In a damning statement, Churchill Brothers owner Churchill Alemao alleged that the I-League was rigged following a controversial draw against Sreenidi Deccan FC in the ongoing I-League 2024-25.
The 18th instalment of the I-League will kick off on November 22 and the 2024-25 season will see 12 teams battle it out for the trophy and promotion to next season’s Indian Super League.
Jamshedpur FC have completed the signing defender Nishchal Chandan who was previously with Churchill Brothers in the I-League.
