Delhi Dynamos FC have announced the singing of 21-year-old goalkeeper Arshdeep Singh from Minerva Punjab FC on a free transfer for the upcoming Indian Super League season.
Originally part of the AIFF Elite Academy, Arshdeep has been at Minerva Punjab since they first started competing nationally in the 2nd Division League in the 2015-16 season.
He has made 28 appearances over the course of four seasons at the club and has played in the AFC Champions League qualifiers, AFC Cup, I-League and the 2nd Division.
Singh was involved in an on-pitch collision with CK Vineeth in the AFC Cup tie between Minerva Punjab FC and Chennaiyin FC on June 19th. The incident left the 21-year-old with multiple fractures which required hospitalisation in the ICU and subsequent surgery.
With Delhi Dynamos likely to shift base to Odisha for the upcoming ISL season, Arshdeep will be manning the sticks in the Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar.
