Close on the heels of signing Spanish veteran Francisco Medina Luna, Jamshedpur FC have brought on board 35-year-old Spaniard Noé Acosta for the upcoming ISL season.
A Real Madrid youth academy product, Noé has turned up for Spanish clubs like Motril, Almería B, Murcia B and Atlético Madrid C; and has vast experience in the lower leagues of the Spanish football tier.
Much like Francisco Medina Luna, the midfielder spent the latter part of his career in Greece notably at PAS Giannina and PAS Lamia. He joins the ISL club, Jamshedpur FC, from AEL or Larissa – a Greek club which participates in the Super League Greece.
Firstly, I would like to thank the management of Jamshedpur FC for giving me this opportunity.
I cannot wait to meet my new teammates and play in front of the fans at the Furnace. I have seen the facilities back in Jamshedpur and it looks impressive and I cannot wait to experience the same.
I can assure the fans of Jamshedpur that we will together try and entertain them and win a lot of matches to make them proud. Jam Ke Khelo Jamshedpur.
Noé Acosta Rivera
We are extremely happy to have Noé Acosta amongst our ranks.
His experience in Europe’s top divisions will help our young players a lot.
We welcome him to the Jamshedpur FC family.
