
Northeast United FC have announced the signing 26-year-old Congolese forward Richard Kule Mbombo.
Mbombo spent his formative years at AS Vita Club based in the capital city of Congo, Kinshasa. He turned pro with AS Vita in 2016 and spent a period out on loan at Belgian clubs RSC Anderlecht and Beerschot and at the Slovak club AS Trenčín.
Kule left AS Vita in 2019 and played club football in Kazakhstan, Latvia, UAE and Lithuania over the last few years. His most recent stint was with Lithuanian club FK Sūduva for whom he scored 11 goals from 25 appearances in the 2021-22 A Lyga (top tier in Lithuania) and made a couple of appearances for the club in the UEFA Europa Conference League Qualifiers this current season.
