Jamshedpur FC have brought onboard former FC Goa defender Dylan Fox as a replacement for Peter Hartley who has left the club.
The outgoing Peter Hartley was a major influence at the club and helped them win the ISL League Winners Shield last season. The 34-year-old English centre-back arrived at JFC in September 2020 and over the course of two and a half seasons made 47 appearances and managed to score six goals.
The incoming Dylan Fox is no stranger to India having turned up for FC Goa last season and for Northeast United FC in 2020-21. The 28-year-old Australian centre-back has featured in 31 matches so far in the ISL over two seasons.
Prior to his stint in India, Fox played in the A-League with Wellington Phoenix for four seasons. During his time with the ‘Nix, he picked up Players’ Player of the Year accolade and was runner-up to Roy Krishna for the club’s Player of the Year award in the 2017-18 season. He also played club football briefly in Korea and prior to joining NEUFC played the 2019-20 season with Central Coast Mariners.
Last year’s league winners – JFC’s form has fallen off the cliff this season. They are currently in 10th place (11 teams) and have only secured a solitary win.
