Aizawl FC have announced Henry Stanley Rozario as their new head coach for the upcoming season. The 62-year-old returns to the club for a second stint having previously managed them between 2019 and 2021. He will be replacing Yan Law who was appointed coach following Henry’s departure in January 2021.
From Bangalore, the UEFA Pro Licence holder started his coaching career as a coach for the Army and Services teams. Then in 2006, he was appointed assistant coach for the Indian National Team under Bob Houghton.
After leaving the NT role, Rozario joined East Bengal FC as their head coach ahead of the 2008-09 I-League season. Over the next few years, he went on to coach Salgaocar FC, Shillong Lajong FC, Mohun Bagan, United Sikkim and Bharat FC. He was also academy director at Ozone FC in 2017.
Henry’s most recent managerial role was his first stint with Aizawl FC which lasted from January 2019 to January 2021. His record is as follows:
