Mumbai City FC add goalkeeper Bhaskar Roy to their squad on a two-year contract

Mumbai City FC have announced the signing of goalkeeper Bhaskar Roy on a two-year contract ahead of the new season. The 29-year-old won the Golden Glove in the 2021-22 I-League with Rajasthan United FC.



Roy was part of SAI (Sports Authority of India) Academy in Kolkata and went onto represent Indian Navy and Services winning the Santosh Trophy with the latter in 2015 & 2016.

Over the years, he also featured for Southern Samity and Minerva Punjab with whom he won the I-League in 2017-18.

For I-League newcomers Rajasthan United FC last season, he kept eight clean sheets (17 matches) and made 44 saves – the highest in the league.
