
Hyderabad FC have signed fullback Manoj Mohammad on a multi-year contract keeping him at the club till 2025.
From the city of Jalpaiguri in West Bengal, Manoj came up the ranks at the academy of East Bengal FC – initially at Rajganj and then later at the main academy in Kolkata.
Ahead of the 2018-19 I-League season, then EBFC Head Coach Alejandro Menéndez selected him to be part of the senior team. He made 16 appearances in the I-League that season and also featured in the 2019 Durand Cup.
In 2020, Mohammad moved to Mohammedan SC and was vital part of the squad for the club both in the I-League and the Calcutta Football League (CFL). Mohammedan Sporting finished second in the 2021-22 I-League and won the Calcutta Premier Division in 2021.
Overall, the 23-year-old left-back has featured in 43 matches in the I-League and has five assists to his credit.
