Early in 2009, Rostyn made the switch to A-League side Adelaide United. He would spent the bulk of his career in the A-League. Apart from Adelaide United, he has turned up for Northern Fury FC, Central Coast Mariners, Perth Glory and Melbourne City FC.

With Melbourne City, he spent the last four seasons and won the A-League Premiership with the club last season. The 6’2″ defender made 22 appearances for Melbourne in 2021-22 including five AFC Champions League appearances. Overall in the A-League, the 34-year-old centre-back has featured in 214 matches in which he managed to score 19 goals.

Besides Australia and England, Griffiths has also played in the Chinese Super League (2012 & 2013), Dutch Eredivisie with Roda JC (2015-16) and the Uzbekistan Superliga (2017 & 2018).
