
Bengaluru FC have brought onboard fullback Prabir Das on a three-year contract from ATK Mohun Bagan.
From Sodepur, West Bengal, Das began his club career with Pailan Arrows (Indian Arrows) in 2012 in the I-League. He then went on to play for Dempo SC and then Mohun Bagan in the I-League. Overall in the I-League, Prabir featured in 59 matches. He won the league with Mohun Bagan in 2014-15.
While playing in the I-League, Das was loaned out to FC Goa, Delhi Dynamos and ATK as part of the ISL draft up until July 2017 when he switched over to ATK permanently. He was retained when ATK merged with Mohun Bagan to form ATK Mohun Bagan in 2020. In the ISL, the 28-year-old has made 86 appearances in total. He won the ISL Championship in 2016 with ATK and in 2019-20 with ATK Mohun Bagan. Last season, he featured in 19 matches for ATKMB.
