Chennaiyin FC have signed 22-year-old winger Vincy Barretto on a multi-year contract from Kerala Blasters. Vincy featured in 17 matches during the season and helped Kerala Blasters finish Runners Up in the 2021-22 ISL.
A youth product of Dempo SC, Barretto moved to FC Goa’s youth teams in 2017 and won the Goa Professional League in 2018-19 with FCG’s developmental side. During his stint with FC Goa, he also played in the 2nd Division League. Late in 2020, he joined Gokulam Kerala FC and won the I-League.
Ahead of the recently concluded 2021-22 ISL, Vincy signed with Kerala Blasters and featured heavily for the side. He also represented KBFC in the RF Developmental League and scored three goals from seven matches as the reserves team went onto finish the league in second place.
