Jamshedpur FC have signed former Rangers FC attacking midfielder and last season’s Scottish Premiership winner Greg Stewart ahead of ISL 2021-22.  The 31-year-old Scotsman played under Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard at Rangers FC over the last two seasons.

Born in the city of Stirling, Greg was part of the youth setup at Rangers FC academy and then joined the academy at Hearts for a few years. In 2010, Stewart turned pro with Scottish second-tier club Cowdenbeath FC and spent four seasons at the club.

Starting from 2014, Steward played in the top-tier Scottish Premiership for the next seven seasons up until last season. He represented Dundee FC, Aberdeen FC, Kilmarnock FC and Rangers FC in the top flight. Greg also had a brief season-long stint at Birmingham City in the 2016-17 English Championship during this period.

The 5’10” midfielder also played in the UEFA Europa League first for Aberdeen FC and then for Rangers. Overall in his club career which played out entirely in Scotland and for a season in England, Stewart has made 351 appearances in which he has scored 89 goals and assisted 67.

Although Rangers FC under Steven Gerrard went unbeaten during the 2020-21 season and won the league comfortably, Stewart made only three appearances in the league.
