Jamshedpur FC have signed defender PC Laldinpuia on a three-year contract ahead of the 2021-22 ISL.
From Mizoram, the 24-year-old centre-back started his senior career with Mizoram Premier League side Bethlehem Vengthlang FC. He moved to Chhinga Veng FC prior to the 2018-19 season and won the best defender award in the MPL. Laldinpuia also represented Chhinga Veng in the 2nd Division League that season.
The following season, PC turned up for Electric Veng and a year later, he joined Aizawl FC in September 2020. Last season in the I-League, Laldinpuia made 14 appearances for Aizawl.

Best at Successful defensive actions and defensive duels in the league. These are elite stats for a fantastic CB
One of the best at progressing the ball in CBs. Not just with passing but also carrying the ball out of defence. Fantastic asset for playing out of the back
Aerial vs Ground duels:
Fantastic at both aerial and ground duels. Hard to find CBs who can do both with great effect. Fantastic stat which brings stability and reliability in both aspects. Rare in Indian CBs.
Defending space vs Ball:
Laldinpuia almost exclusively prefers to defend space. He looks to the intercept the ball a lot more and play in spaces to stop players from passing in gaps rather than charge the players down and over commit.
