From the city of Olsztyn in Poland, Łukasz turned pro in 2004 and spent the first half of his career in Poland. He won the Polish league – the Ekstraklasa – in 2011-12 with Śląsk Wrocław.
In 2013, Gikiewicz moved abroad to Cyprus to play club football and over the next few years, he turned into a journeyman playing for clubs in Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Jordan, Romania and Bahrain.
Over the course of his career, the 6′ 2″ centre-forward has made over 200 club appearances and scored over a 100 goals. He’ s also played in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers, the UEFA Europa League, AFC CL qualifiers and the AFC Cup.
