
Chennaiyin FC have wrapped up a two-year deal for Indian international fullback Narayan Das. The 27-year-old was at SC East Bengal last season and joins CFC on a free transfer.
From Tribeni in West Bengal, Narayan Das graduated from the Tata Football Academy in 2012 and joined Pailan Arrows (now Indian Arrows). After spending a year at the AIFF developmental side, Das moved to I-League side Dempo SC and over the years played for FC Pune City, FC Goa, Delhi Dynamos, Odisha FC and more recently SC East Bengal in the ISL.
Vastly experienced, Narayan has over a 100 appearances in the ISL to his credit. He has represented India at the U-23 and U-19 level and made his senior team national debut in 2013 against Nepal. The left back has been capped 28 times for India and has won the SAFF Championship (2015) and the Intercontinental Cup (2018).
