Hyderabad FC have signed 23-year-old striker Aaren D’Silva on a three-year contract from FC Goa ahead of the 2021-22 ISL. The forward was promoted to the FC Goa senior team last season after spending three seasons with the developmental side. With the FC Goa reserve team, he primarily played in the 2nd Division League and the Goa Pro League.
Aaren spent his formative years at SESA Football Academy and was also part of Dempo SC’s U-19 setup. He came into the limelight during his stint with Santa Cruz Club of Cavelossim in the Goa Pro League from where he joined FC Goa in 2017. He also helped the state of Goa to a runners-up finish in the 2016-17 Santosh Trophy.
Although promoted to the FC Goa setup last season in the ISL, D’Silva is yet to make his debut in the top-tier and will be hoping to do so in the new season expected to start on November 19th.
