  • 22-year-old centre-back who hails from Mumbai has joined MCFC on a one-year deal.
  • A graduate of the AIFF Academy in Goa, Amey started his professional career with the now defunct DSK Shivajians following which he joined FC Goa as part of the ISL draft in 2017.
  • Was loaned out to Mohun Bagan AC for the 2018-19 I-League.
  • Last season, Amey made a couple of appearances in the ISL for the Gaurs. After the season ended, he turned up for FC Bengaluru United in the recently concluded I-League Qualifiers 2020.
  • Has represented India at the U-17 and U-19 levels.

This is a huge opportunity for me and being a Mumbai boy myself, it’s that much more special.

Mumbai City is a club with a model that puts its faith in young players, and I am eager to see where it can take me in my development as a football player.

I’ve worked under coach Lobera in the past and I am ready to get started in this new challenge.
