ATK Mohun Bagan have signed former Newcastle United Academy midfielder Bradden Inman from A-League side Brisbane Roar FC.

Born in Adelaide, Inman was scouted by Newcastle United during a tour of Australia and the midfielder moved Tyneside at the age of 15. He made his reserve team debut in 2008 against Sheffield United FC. Although named on the bench on a couple of occasions in the Premier League, the midfielder did not make an appearance for the senior side and instead played in the Premier Reserve League.

After rejecting a fresh contract offered by the Magpies, Brad joined League One side Crewe Alexandra on loan in the 2012-13 season and made the deal permanent with the club the season after. After four seasons at the club, Inman moved to League One sides Peterborough United and Rochdale AFC for a few years before moving Down Under to Brisbane Roar last season.

Besides featuring in League One, the midfielder has also featured in the EFL Cup and FA Cup competitions in England. Bradden also has a penchant for scoring and assisting goals. In 290 appearances across all competitions, he has scored 53 goals and assisted 42. Last season in the A-League, the 28-year-old scored four goals and assisted six from 25 appearances – a valuable characterstic coming into the ISL.
