Jamshedpur FC have added Aizawl FC forward William Lalnunfela and Sudeva FC recruit Bhupender Singh to their squad. The pair have signed three-year contracts with the club.
William Lalnunfela
- From Kolasib, Mizoram, William spent his formative years at local club Vengthar VC followed by Pune FC and Chanmari FC.
- Joined Aizawl FC in 2015 and helped them win promotion to the I-League from the 2nd Division League.
- Made his I-League debut against Bengaluru FC in February, 2016, and was part of Aizawl FC’s I-League winning campaign in the 2016-17 season.
- Signed with Mohun Bagan in 2018 and was re-signed by Aizwal FC in 2019 from where he joins Jamshedpur FC on a free transfer.
- Has represented Mizoram in the Santosh Trophy.
- The 25-year-old forward has signed a three-year contract with Jamshedpur FC.
Bhupender Singh
- The 19-year-old can play as a forward or winger.
- Was part of fourth tier Spanish club CD Olímpic de Xàtiva’s squad over the past two years.
- Before his stint with Sudeva FC-owned Xàtiva, he was part of Sudeva’s youth teams who were competing in youth I-Leagues.
- Was part of the U-17 India World Cup camp in 2017, but did not end up making the final squad.
