Odisha FC have announced the signings of wingers Baoringdao Bodo and Laishram Premjit Singh to their squad ahead of the seventh edition of the Indian Super League.

Baoringdao Bodo

20-year-old Assamese left winger Bodo is an AIFF Elite Academy product who joined Chennaiyin FC in 2016 and went on record as the youngest player contracted to an ISL club. He went out on loan to Minerva Punjab in 2017 and made 10 appearances for the club in the 2016-17 I-League.

The following season he made his ISL debut against FC Goa and played for the Chennaiyin Reserves in the 2nd Division League before being loaned out to Gokulam Kerala FC.

After his loan spell ended, Baoringdao joined Kerala Blasters on a permanent deal in January of 2019. He featured on a couple of occasions for the Kochi-based club before penning a contract with FC Bengaluru United later that year. He played in five matches for the club in the 2nd Division League before the league was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Bodo joins Odisha FC on a two-year contract.

I am very excited and can’t wait to start my journey with OFC.

I want to thank the management for showing faith in me. I feel privileged & great to be part of a system which supports and develops young players.

I look forward to giving my best for the fans.

18-year-old Premjit Singh joins Odisha FC from TRAU FC on a four-year deal. In the 2019-20 I-League season, the right winger featured on nine occasions for the Imphal-based club.

Premjit was part of the TRAU setup in 2018-19 2nd Division League season where he helped the club win promotion to the I-League.

I am extremely delighted that OFC showed interest in me and they are investing a lot in youngsters.

I am looking forward to play for them in the ISL & I am sure that it will be a great opportunity for me to grow further in my professional career.
