TALKING POINTS
Kerala Blasters had an injury/suspension stricken FC Goa reduced to 10 men and were in the lead only to throw it all away in stoppage time.
- Late drama in the ISL again with tired legs, lack of composure helping the away side salvage a point even after being reduced to 10 men.
- What Mourtada Fall gives, he taketh away: Mourtada Fall scored on one end and then got himself sent off at the other end. The defender has goal-scoring moments and last ditch tackles and clearances, but he almost always seems to be involved whenever Goa concede.
- With Coro and co missing, Goa lacked impetus in attack. They were mostly involved with cycling possession without real penetration as is evident from their xG flatlining on the night.
- More introspection needed for Kerala Blasters as the team tends to have lapses in concentration. They still aren’t cohesive enough as a team and yet again they are closer to the bottom of the table than they are to the top.
