Jamshedpur FC have signed 31-year-old forward/winger CK Vineeth from Kerala Blasters for the upcoming Indian Super League season.

Born in Kannur, Kerala, Vineeth represented Chennai Customs and KSEB FC during his formative years. He signed his first professional contract with I-League club Chirag United (Viva Kerala FC) in 2011. A season later he joined United SC and after the club folded, CK joined I-League direct entry side Bengaluru FC in January 2014. The forward went to win two I-League titles and two Federation Cups with the Blues.

During his stint with Bengaluru FC, Vineeth was drafted into the ISL in 2015 and 2016 with Kerala Blasters before signing permanently with the Kochi-based club in July 2017.

Last season, CK was loaned out to Chennaiyin FC halfway through the season and represented the club in the ISL and the AFC Cup.

The 31-year-old has a fairly decent record over the years. His 91 appearances in the I-League have yielded 23 goals and he has scored 12 goals in 49 appearances in the ISL. In the AFC Cup competition, CK has been on the score-sheet on four occasions (12 appearances).
