Gokulam Kerala FC have added 21-year-old NEROCA FC fullback Sebastian Thangmuansang and goalkeeper Ubaid CK from East Bengal FC to their squad.
Sebastian Thangmuansang (21, Right Back)
- Was selected for the grassroots U-12 Vision India program.
- Part of the Pune City academy and eventually the Reserves side which played in the 2nd Division League in the 2017-18 season.
- Joined Chennai City FC on loan in the 2017-18 season and made 12 appearances in the I-League.
- The following season (2018-19) – transferred to NEROCA FC on a free transfer from FC Pune City.
- Started in 17 games out of a possible 20 for NEROCA in the 2018-19 I-League season.
Ubaid CK (29, Goalkeeper)
- From Kannur, Kerala, but ended up representing Maharashtra in the 2015 Santosh Trophy.
- Has had season long stints with Viva Kerala, Dempo SC, Air India, ONGC and FC Kerala.
- Loaned initially to East Bengal for the second half of the 2017-18 I-League season after impressing in the Kerala Premier League with FC Kerala.
- Was signed by East Bengal on a two-year deal in 2018-19, but ended up making only two appearances in the I-League as Rakshit Dagar ended up being first-choice for the coach Alejandro Menéndez.
