Delhi Dynamos have signed Ulises Dávila from Santos Laguna who compete in the Liga MX, Mexico’s top division. Ulises who has represented Mexico at youth levels is a product of the Guadalajara Academy. Dávila was signed by Chelsea in 2011 on a five-year contract, but never made an appearance for the Blues. He was loaned out to multiple clubs across Europe during his tenure at the club.
The attacking midfielder can play through the middle or the flanks. Delhi Dynamos are at the bottom of the Indian Super League and have scored only seven goals this season. Delhi play an attractive brand of football creating lots of chances and with the addition of Ulises, they will hope they can convert some of their chances into something more substantial – like goals.
