Mohammedan SC have announced the appointment of Russian manager Andrey Chernyshov as the head coach for the upcoming season.

As a player, the 53-year-old UEFA Pro license holder turned up for Dynamo Moscow in the late 80s and went on to represent Spartak Moscow and Austrian club SK Sturm Graz. The centre-back represented Soviet Union/Russia internationally at senior and youth levels.

In 2002, Chernyshov took over the Russian U-21 team and also served as assistant coach for the Russian National Team. At club level, Andrey went onto manage Spartak Moscow, Dinamo Tbilisi and clubs in Belarus, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Serbia and Greece.

Prior to joining the Black Panthers, Andrey was in charge of North Macedonian club FK Belasica. In the 11 matches Belasica played in the 2020-21 North Macedonian league, he won a solitary match (Nine losses, One draw). His overall record in a nearly two decade long managerial career is Matches: 174 Wins: 62 Draws:36 Losses: 76.
