Pelissari is no stranger to India having represented ISL clubs Chennaiyin FC (2014, 2015) and Delhi Dynamos (2016) previously. He scored in the 2015 ISL play-off finals to help Chennaiyin FC to the title and in 2016, he was part of the Delhi Dynamos squad which reached the play-offs.
In three seasons in the ISL, Bruno has managed seven goals in 35 appearances.
The attacking midfielder was part of the youth academy at Athletico Paranaense, a Brazilian club which competes in the top-flight Brasileirão. Bruno never ended up making an appearance for the senior team, but instead was loaned out to Chennaiyin FC for two years.
After leaving Delhi Dynamos in 2016, Bruno joined the Brazilian club Votuporanguense (2017-19) who participate in the Brazilian state championships. Pelissari joins Gokulam Kerala after impressing Head Coach Fernando Andres Santiago Valera in training.
He is a wonderful player who can create a lot of chances.
It is great to see such a player in the team. He has trained along with us only for a couple of training sessions, but I can see the talent in him.
This year we have quality foreign recruits. Henry Kisekka and Marcus Joseph are expected to be a deadly combination upfront while Andre Ettienne is a solid defender.
Now we have Bruno Pelissari in the middle of the park. Along with the local talents, I think we have a good squad this year.Fernando Santiago Valera, Head Coach, Gokulam Kerala FC.
