ATK have announced the signing of 32-year-old Australian international and Melbourne City attacking midfielder Dario Vidošić for the upcoming Indian Super League season.

Born in Croatia in 1987, Dario moved to Australia as a child after his father got an offer to play for the Queensland Lions. He was at the Queensland Lions Youth Academy between the years 2000 and 2005 before making his professional debut with Brisbane Roar FC.

After a season with Brisbane Roar, Vidošić moved to FC Nürnberg in Germany. The four year stint in Germany included loan spells to other German clubs and the attacking midfielder gained experience playing in the Bundesliga and the 2. Bundesliga.

After Germany, the attacking midfielder returned home and turned up for a number of clubs in the A-League, the top division in the Australian league system – Adelaide United (2011-2013), Western City Wanderers (2015-16), Wellington Phoenix (2017) and Melbourne City (2017-19) from where he joins ATK.

Dario is well-travelled and his career has taken him to FC Sion (2013-15) in Switzerland, Liaoning FC in China and Seongnam FC in South Korea. The 32-year old made his international debut in 2009 with the Socceroos having already represented them at the U-20 and U-23 level.

In the A-League where most of his experience lies, Dario has made 115 appearances in which he scored 29 goals and assisted 18. He joins fellow A-League teammates Roy Krishna and David Williams at ATK who joined the Kolkata-based club recently.
