Real Kashmir FC have announced the signing of 29-year-old NEROCA FC winger Subhash Singh for the upcoming I-League season.
Subhash hails from Manipur and his formative years were spent at the Sports Authority of India and ESU, a football club based out of Manipur (2005-2007). His first senior team experience was with Air India FC in the I-League between the years 2007 and 2009.
After two seasons with The Pilots, Singh turned up for a number of I-League clubs – Salgaocar, Pune FC and Shillong Lajong before being drafted into the ISL by Mumbai City FC in 2014. After making 22 appearances for the Islanders, Subhash Singh was loaned out to Bharat FC and Mohun Bagan over the next two seasons.
The winger who can also be deployed as a centre-forward moved closer home by joining Imphal-based NEROCA FC in the 2nd Division League in 2016-17. He helped his side get promoted and before his move to Real Kashmir, his three seasons at NEROCA FC saw him score 14 goals in 53 appearances.
