Kerala Blasters FC sign 19-year-old forward Rahul KP from Indian Arrows

A homecoming of sorts for Thrissur’s Rahul KP after the 19-year-old Indian Arrows forward penned a deal with Kerala Blasters FC.

Rahul has represented the Kerala State Football team and was part of the AIFF Elite Academy for the FIFA U-17 World Cup which was held in India in 2017. The youngster has represented India at U-17, U-20 and U-23 levels.

After his stint at the AIFF Elite Academy, Rahul joined Indian Arrows, the AIFF developmental side which competes in the I-League. Over two seasons with the Arrows, the teenager amassed 40 appearances and scored six goals.

The forward who can also play on the wings joins up with former FIFA U-17 World Cup teammate and Kerala Blasters FC custodian Dheeraj Singh Moirangthem at the Kochi club.
