SBI Kerala held off Kerala Blasters Reserves to secure their third draw of the season.
The two-time champions are yet to win a game in the league so far and are fifth on the table ahead of Indian Navy who haven’t yet played in a Kerala Premier League fixture this season.
FC Thrissur kickstart their campaign with a win

FC Thrissur picked up a win over SAT Tirur in their first game of the season. They went into half-time leading by a goal and scored again in the second half to make it 2-0.
A goal by SAT Tirur’s captain Rishad in the second half threatened to change the balance of the game, but FC Thrissur held on to bag all three points.
Jibin Devassy scored both the goals for FC Thrissur.
A row erupted after FC Thrissur players complained that their Ghanian player Yemoah Santacruz was racially abused by the SAT Tirur players.

The Group B fixtures for the 5th and 6th of January were suspended indefinitely as a few players will be unavailable due to the ongoing Santosh Trophy camp.
