The Spanish club Atletico Madrid have entered into a collaboration with Tata Football Academy (TFA). The partnership will see Atletico provide support mainly on scouting & recruitment, physiotherapy and video analysis.
This is Atletico Madrid’s second foray into Indian football after a successful partnership with ATK which yielded two ISL titles in three years.
The La Liga behemoths will also enable experts to visit the academy periodically and provide hands-on support.
The academy which is based out of Jamshedpur will be renamed as Atletico Tata Football Academia.
