Hyderabad FC have brought on-board former Jamshedpur FC attacker Aniket Jadhav on a three-year contract ahead of the 2021-22 ISL.

From Kolahpur, Maharashtra, Aniket was part of the academy at the now defunct Pune FC. In 2015, he was picked up by the AIFF Elite Academy and was part of the batch that was prepping to play in the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup held in India. He represented India in the FIFA U-17 World Cup and joined AIFF developmental side Indian Arrows post the conclusion of the tournament.

He made his professional debut for the Arrows’ side in the 2017-18 I-League against Chennai City. Jamshedpur FC signed the player in 2018 and loaned him back to Indian Arrows for the 2018-19 season. Over two seasons in the I-League, Jadhav made 19 appearances and scored two goals.

Aniket’s ISL debut came in the 2019-20 season in Jamshedpur FC’s home game against Odisha FC. He featured in 27 matches in two ISL seasons and has contributed with two goals.

The 21-year-old attacker can play anywhere across the front three and has mainly been deployed as a right winger at JFC.
