
Here’s the list of domestic/Indian player signings made by Northeast United FC ahead of the ISL 2022-23 season.
Jithin MS
-24-year-old midfielder who hails from Thrissur, Kerala, joins NEUFC from Gokulam Kerala FC.
-Won two back-to-back I-League titles with GKFC over the last two seasons.
-Started his pro career with Thrissur-based FC Kerala.
-Played in the 2nd Division League with FC Kerala and the Kerala Blasters reserves.
-Won the Santosh Trophy in 2017-18 with Kerala.
-Has signed a multi-year contract with NEUFC.
Emil Benny
-21-year-old attacking midfielder hails from Wayanad, Kerala.
-Like Jithin, Benny was part of the Gokulam Kerala FC squad which won back-to-back I-League titles over the last two seasons.
-Emil came into prominence at MSP Football Academy following which he was part of the youth setup at both Kerala Blasters and Gokulam Kerala FC.
Arindam Bhattacharya
-32-year-old experienced goalkeeper was at East Bengal FC last season
-The Kolkata-based keeper is a Tata Football Academy product.
-Has plenty of experience in the ISL and the I-League. Some of the clubs he featured prominently for are Churchill Brothers and ATK Mohun Bagan.
-Won the ISL with ATK, Federation Cup with Bengaluru FC and the SAFF Championship with the Indian NT over the course of his career.
Gaurav Bora
-24-year-old centre-back was with Odisha FC over the last few seasons.
-From Guwahati, spent his formative years at Pune FC’s academy.
-Won the I-League with Chennai City FC in 2018-19.
-Has represented India at the U-23 level.
-41 appearances in the ISL over the last three seasons.
Jirjar Terang

-22-year-old Assam-based defender is a product of the Tata Football Academy.
-Was part of the youth setup at Jamshedpur FC.
-Joins Northeast United FC from Goa Pro League club Calangute Association.
Parthib Gogoi
-19-year-old forward/right winger was previously with Indian Arrows.
-Hails from Assam and is the younger brother of Pragyan Gogoi who also plays for NEUFC.
-28 appearances in the I-League over the last two seasons with three goals and three assists to his credit.
-Has represented India at youth level across various age categories.
-Four goals in five games at SAFF U-20 Championship 2022 which India won.
Rupert Nongrum
-26-year-old winger returns to NEUFC after a previous stint with the club between 2018 and 2020.
-From Malki in Shillong City, Nongrum is a youth academy product of Shillong Lajong FC and went onto play for the club in the I-League and the Shillong Premier League.
-Has represented Delhi Dynamos, ATK and Northeast United FC in the ISL.
-The right winger has spent the last two seasons in the I-League with RoundGlass Punjab FC.
-Overall, Rupert has featured in 38 matches (5 goals) in the I-League and has 24 appearances in the ISL.
