Hyderabad FC sign fullback Pritam Soraisam

Hyderabad FC have signed former Kerala Blasters, Shillong Lajong fullback Pritam Soraisam ahead of the 2021-22 ISL.

From Bishnupur, Manipur, Pritam spent his developmental years at Sambalpur Football Academy, Shillong Lajong Youth Academy and was also part of the AIFF Elite Academy. He was promoted to the senior team at Shillong Lajong FC in 2014 and spent the next three seasons playing in the I-League in which he made a total of 38 appearances.

The 25-year-old left back was loaned out to Northeast United FC as part of the ISL draft in 2014, but did not make a first team appearance for the club. In 2017, Soraisam was signed by Kerala Blasters and in three seasons in the ISL, he featured in six matches.

Last season, Pritam signed with SC East Bengal, however, he did not end up featuring in the ISL.

Pritam has represented India at the U-19 level.
