Bengaluru FC have announced the signing of Gabonese defender Yrondu Musavu-King for the duration of the club’s AFC Cup 2020-21 campaign.

Born in the city of Libreville, Gabon, Musavu-King moved to France at the age of two and spent most of his formative years at French club SM Caen. He went on to represent the club in the French top-tier Ligue 1 in 2014-15 followed by stints at FC Lorient and FC Toulouse over the next two seasons.

The 29-year-old has played across the top three tiers of French football and was part of the Swiss Super League club FC St. Gallen during the 2017-18 season. More recently, he turned up for Le Mans FC during the 2019-20 season. The centre-back has also represented the Gabon National Football Team 14 times.
