Odisha FC have brought on-board 25-year-old Australian centre back Jacob Tratt on a one-year deal ahead of ISL 7.

Born in the city of Dubbo in Australia, Tratt spent his youth career with Australian clubs Western NSW Panthers, Sutherland Sharks and Sydney FC.

Jacob turned pro with Sydney FC in 2015 and over the next few years played for a number of Australian clubs – notable among them are Wellington Phoenix and Perth Glory from where he joins Odisha FC.

Over the course of his career, the centre-back who can also fill in at right back has made 43 appearances in the A-League.

Tratt’s signing is the third foreign signing Odisha have made this season behind Brazilians Diego Maurício and Marcelinho.

We are pleased to secure Jacob’s signature.

He is a physically strong player with good functional technique who can develop further.

His attributes shall add to our defensive line and bolster our squad depth.
