Kerala Blasters sign Macedonian defender Vlatko Drobarov

Kerala Blasters FC have announced the signing of 27-year-old Macedonian defender Vlatko Drobarov as a replacement for the injured Jairo Rodrigues.

The Brazilian Jairo had a meniscus tear when he joined the club. The tear aggravated into a hamstring injury and with Sandesh Jhingan also out injured for the rest of the ISL season, the Blasters had to get in a replacement.

Most of the new signing Drobarov’s experience is in the North Macedonian league – the Prva Liga. Apart from that, the defender has also played club football in Armenia, Cypriot and in Mexico with Murciélagos FC.

The 27-year-old joins the Kerala Blasters on a free transfer and he was last playing for the Macedonian club FK Belasica.
