AIFF PRESS RELEASE [September 18, 2019]
NEW DELHI: All India Football Federation today (September 18, 2019) notified all the state associations to send in the nominations of clubs for Hero Second Division League 2019-20 by 10th October 2019. The interested clubs need to submit the following documents to respective state association who will eventually liaison with AIFF:
- Last completed top most division local league result of the club
- Certificate of Incorporation or Registration
As per the decision of the AIFF Executive Committee, sporting merit is a critical aspect in club selection for the Hero Second Division League 2019-20. A club must have finished in the top five or top half of the FINAL league table, whichever is lower, to be nominated for Hero Second Division League 2019-20.
Each State Association can nominate a maximum number of two clubs provided they comply with the criteria mentioned above.
The club Licensing criteria for 2nd Division League 2019-20 would apply only to those clubs whose nomination is approved by the AIFF League committee.
