A homecoming of sorts for the Mumbai-born defender Pratik Chaudhari as he penned a one-year deal with the ISL side, Mumbai City FC.

Pratik spent his formative years with Bank of India and Union Bank of India teams before signing professionally with Air India FC in 2011. After a couple of years at the club, he moved to  Rangdajied United for a season followed by Mohun Bagan.

For the 2015-16 season, Pratik joined another I-League side – the now dissolved Mumbai FC. Once the season ended, he was drafted into the ISL with Kerala Blasters following which he rejoined Mumbai FC for the next I-League season.

In July of 2017, Chaudhari moved permanently to Delhi Dynamos FC and made 11 appearances in the ISL. He switched sides once again to Jamshedpur FC for the 2018-19 season and joins Mumbai City FC from there. Pratik featured on nine occasions for the Red Miners in the ISL 2018-19 season.
