Jamshedpur FC have announced the signing of the Northeast United fullback Keegan Pereira on a one-year deal. Keegan made 15 appearances for Northeast United and was part of their impressive run into the ISL semi-finals where they lost out to eventual title winners Bengaluru FC.
The 31 year old left back from Mumbai has been a bit of a journeyman and has turned up for top clubs like Bengaluru FC, Mumbai City FC and ATK.
Keegan has racked up a few winners’ medals over the years in both the I-League and the Indian Super League. With Bengaluru FC, he won the I-League and the Federation Cup twice followed by an ISL title with ATK in 2016.
He provides a wealth of experience and adds value to a Jamshedpur side who finished just outside the play-off positions for a second consecutive season.
I am looking forward to my new home Jamshedpur FC. I enjoyed playing in front of such a massive crowd at JRD Stadium last season and I hope this upcoming season they will continue to support the team and me so that together we can win silverware for the club.Keegan Pereira
